A first-time for Air Liquide New Zealand at the Internship & Summer Work Career Expo at the University of Auckland

Founded in 1883, the University of Auckland is the largest and top-ranked university in New Zealand.

Air Liquide New Zealand (ALNZ) participated in the Internship and Summer Work Career Expo held at the University of Auckland on 3rd August 2017. With more than 40,000 students at the University of Auckland, the Expo presented an excellent opportunity for ALNZ to build its talent pipeline and showcase the Air Liquide brand.

Besides providing an overview of Air Liquide and ALNZ, staff from ALNZ  also shared their personal work experiences with the students. Students who were keen in the field of process engineering were presented with the available summer internship opportunities. Drawing the attention of the students was a live demonstration of dry ice sublimating into a small bowl of warm water, which was an attention-grabber. Justin Payne, ALNZ’s Managing Director, was also present to speak with the inquisitive and enthusiastic students.

Feedback has been positive and ALNZ will continue to work on such initiatives to attract new talent into our Air Liquide family.
