Air Liquide SEA Cluster inaugurates its SIO Center in Kuala Lumpur

Air Liquide’s Smart Innovative Operations (SIO) Center in Southeast Asia (SEA) Cluster officially opened its doors on the 23rd January 2018.

The SIO Center in SEA was formally inaugurated by Boon Hai Ng (SEA Cluster VP), Francois Abrial (Group VP - APAC Hub), Francois Venet (Group Senior VP - Strategy), Francois Darchis (Group Senior VP - Innovation and Development), Olivier Delabroy (VP - Group Digital Transformation), Bernard Dhainaut (VP Industrial Management, SEA Cluster), together with the Dato’ Seri Ong Ka Chuan, Second Minister for International Trade and Industry, His Excellency Mr Frederic Laplanche, the French Ambassador to Malaysia and other external partners in Malaysia such as InvestKL, Malaysia Digital Economy Corp. and MAGIC. Over 150 guests, including customers and external partners, witnessed the inauguration, participated in experiential booths and joined the guided tours to the SIO Center.

Located in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, the SIO Center is currently home to 35 employees working together to remotely operate 18 production units across 8 countries such as Malaysia, Singapore, Philippines, Thailand, Vietnam, Indonesia, Australia and New Zealand using digital tools and the latest technologies.
